    The Montessori “prepared environment” is organized into distinct areas that are designed to enable and enhance the continuation of the child’s development and learning from the Infants and Toddlers Class

    All the furniture and materials are child-sized and age appropriate.

      Practical life activities help children to coordinate movement, awareness of the environment, independent work habits, and responsibility

    • Sensorial

      The materials and activities in this area allow children to classify sensorial impressions and sort by size, shape, color, touch, sound, and weight

    • Math

      These activities make the abstract concepts of mathematics concrete for hands-on learning

    • Language

      The area includes books, stories, songs and rhymes, sequencing and matching activities and vocabulary development work

    • Science

      The Montessori approach to science indulges the child’s natural fascination with his surroundings, community and natural world

    • Geography

      These materials help the child learn about the facts of the material world, types of landmasses, bodies of water, continents and countries

    • Music

      Music education occurs through singing, listening to music, introduction of instruments, introduction of musical notation, and exploration of sound

    • Art

      Children are provided with varied media to help develop their creativity. Through art explorations children will make discoveries and create original and meaningful work

    • Physical Development

      Movement is built into all Montessori activities to develop gross motor and fine motor skills through running, jumping, swinging, ball play etc

  • Class Schedule

    In our Casa classes the day is structured to create familiarity and a routine the children know and are comfortable with

      Children arrive in the classroom and eat breakfast
    • 09:00 - 12:00
      Work cycle:

      Teachers and assistants give individual and group lessons to students. The children have uninterrupted work time with Montessori materials. Individual snack is available to the children during the morning.

      All children rest and are given the opportunity to sleep. Children who do not sleep will continue choosing work and quiet activities.

      Snack Time & Students are dismissed

      After care is available to families needing additional care upon additional payment.

      Lead Teacher

      I come from Italy, the country of Maria Montessori. I am an AMI certified teacher with 12 years of experince in Montessori schools in Mexico, Vietnam, UK and Spain. I hold a Bachelor degree for Langauge and Literature from the Univeristy of Turin. Later on I studied the Montessori Method and became AMI certified. I have been teaching in schools with children of multiculural backgrounds. I am enthusiastic, committed, patient and dedicated to helping all children achieve their full potential.
