Below is an overview of the admissions process to International Montessori School of Albania. We are committed to supporting you every step of the way.

STEP 1: Contact our Admissions Team

You can register your interest in learning more about our school, by completing our online enquiry form. Upon receiving your enquiry, our admissions team will be in touch to provide further information and can arrange for you to come and visit the school.

Once you have submitted an enquiry, we will keep you updated with what's going on in school and we'd love to invite you to our community events and open days.

Alternatively, you can send us an email via info@montessori.al or give us a call at +355 69 605 6125.

STEP 2: School Tour

Our Admissions Team will take you on a personal tour of our wonderful facilities here at IMSA. During your visit, you will get a feel for the school, see our classrooms and specialist facilities and meet a member of our academic team.

STEP 3: Start Your Application

When you are ready to submit an application to join IMSA, you will need to submit your child's application via our online admissions portal. You can click to access the admissions portal below.

The admissions portal will remain open for the duration of your admissions journey and guide you through the whole process. You can log in to the portal to view your progress and submit documents at any time, you will also receive a notification when there is an update. However, please note that once you submit forms and sign documents, you will no longer be able to make edits.

If you have previously enquired to the school, please use the same email address to log in to the portal because this enables us to identify you and avoids duplicate applications for the same family.

To get started, it's worth noting that the following supporting documents will be required, you will be guided to securely upload these within the admissions portal:

  • Student application form, including summary of student’s academic history.
  • Enrolment Agreement Form
  • Medical Questionnaire
  • 2 photos of the child (3x4cm)
  • Copies of the passports of the child and both parents (Please include the current visa page)
  • Vaccination card of the child
  • Psychological-educational evaluations if available

A review of your application and supporting documents is usually completed within one week.

STEP 4: Assessment & Interview

The Admissions team welcomes the family to IMSA, where they will meet the Principal to discuss the child’s interests and early childhood development. Families will also receive information about the Montessori Method/Philosophy and have the opportunity to meet with an academic staff member to further discuss the child’s individual needs. This process can also be conducted virtually.

STEP 5: Offer & Acceptance

If your application has met all conditions, and providing there is a place available in the appropriate year group, a formal offer of a place will be made.

You will receive this offer together with the contract for you to sign via the admissions portal.

Where there are more applicants than available places, and all necessary conditions are met, admission shall be determined by the date of application and a waiting list will be formed.
