There are simple steps in your journey towards offering your child(ren) an outstanding education at International Montessori School, Albania. Below is an overview of the admissions process. STEP 1: Contact our Admissions Team

You can register your interest in learning more about our school by completing our online enquiry form. Once we receive your enquiry, a member of our Admissions Team will be in touch to provide further information and arrange a visit to the school. After submitting your enquiry, we will also keep you informed about what’s happening in school, and we would be delighted to invite you to our community events and open days. STEP 2: School Tour

Our Admissions Team will take you on a personal tour of our wonderful facilities here at IMSA. During your visit, you will get a feel for the school, see our classrooms and specialist facilities, learn more about the Montessori way, and meet members of the team.

STEP 3: Start Your Application

When you are ready to submit an application to join IMSA, you will need to submit your child's application via our online admissions portal. You can click to access the admissions portal below. The admissions portal will remain open for the duration of your admissions journey and guide you through the whole process. You can log in to the portal to view your progress and submit documents at any time, you will also receive a notification when there is an update. However, please note that once you submit forms and sign documents, you will no longer be able to make edits.

If you have previously enquired to the school, please use the same email address to log in to the portal because this enables us to identify you and avoids duplicate applications for the same family.


Supporting Documents

To get started, it's worth noting that the following supporting documents will be required, you will be guided to securely upload these within the admissions portal:

  • Student application form, including summary of student’s academic history.
  • Enrolment Agreement Form
  • Medical Questionnaire
  • 2 photos of the child (3x4cm)
  • Copies of the passports of the child and both parents (Please include the current visa page)
  • Vaccination card of the child
  • Psychological-educational evaluations (if available)

STEP 4: Assessment & Interview

The Admissions team welcomes the family to IMSA, where they will meet the Principal to discuss the child’s interests and early childhood development. Families will also receive information about the Montessori Method/Philosophy and have the opportunity to meet with an academic staff member to further discuss the child’s individual needs. This process can also be conducted virtually.

STEP 5: Offer & Acceptance

If your application has met all conditions, and providing there is a place available in the appropriate year group, a formal offer of a place will be made.

You will receive this offer together with the contract for you to sign via the admissions portal.

Where there are more applicants than available places, and all necessary conditions are met, admission shall be determined by the date of application and a waiting list will be formed.
