Our Outstanding Nursery

International Montessori School of Albania (IMSA), founded in 2007, is the first Montessori School in Albania, and the only one that is Internationally accredited. We care for and nourish children from 9 months to 5 years old.

IMSA seeks to educate the whole child, applying the Montessori philosophy, in an internationally-oriented environment.

Montessori-trained international staff provide the best quality teaching according to the Montessori philosophy and methodology. The entire Montessori curriculum and activities are provided in English.

We are proud to be the first Montessori school in Albania that follows the popular Montessori philosophy, and the only internationally accredited Montessori school. We have been practising the Montessori ethos for 16 years.

We believe that lower staff-to-child ratios allow our teachers to be more sensitive and responsive to children’s needs. Our adult-to-child ratio is 1:4 in our Infants Group, 1:6 in our Toddler Group and 1:8 in our Casa Group.
